Why is my container of Absolute Greens powder not filled to the top?

Our powder products are sold by weight, not volume, and some settling can occur during shipping.

How do I store my opened containers?

Most of our products can be stored at room temperature after opening. A few products recommend refrigeration — examples include Cod Liver Oil, Calphonite, and Flax Oil Caps.

Does Green For Life source any products outside of the United States?

Most of our products are sourced in the U.S. There are a few herbal ingredients that do not grow in the U.S., and those are sourced outside of the U.S.

Are your products gluten free?

Yes, our products are gluten free.

Are your products vegan?

Most of our products are vegan.

My powder clings to the scoop and it looks magnetic — is this normal?

Because our products are low-heat processed, they can occasionally cling to our scoops. This is completely normal.

My product is past its expiration date. Is it still good?

Most of our products can be used after the expiration date. Products with a made-on date are usually good for three years after that date.

Are Green For Life products nut free?

Yes, our products are nut free.

Are your containers BPA free?

Yes, all of our containers are BPA free.

Can Green For Life products be added to hot liquids or cooking?

Yes, but if you cook above 120°F (49°C), you will start to lose some of the vitamins and enzymes.

Are all your products organic?

Most of them are organic and wild harvested.

Is it ok to take more than one serving per day of Absolute Greens?

Yes. Many people take two or more scoops per day, and some use it as a meal replacement. Because most of our products are dried condensed foods, you can take many servings.

Can I take Green For Life products while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes, because the majority of our products are food-based ingredients. The one exception is our 7 Day Cleansing Program — women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should wait until after before beginning a 7 day cleanse.

Can I eat food while doing the 7 Day Cleansing Program?

No food is recommended during the 7 days, because you will receive all the nutrition you need from the live supplements inside the kit. Avoiding food gives your digestive system a rest so your energy can go toward healing process.

Do I have to do a coffee enema or colonic irrigation every day during the 7 day cleanse?

They are highly recommended, because they help wash out the many toxins that are working their way out of the body.

How will I feel during the 7 day cleanse?

If you follow the instructions properly, most people have more good days than challenging ones. If a headache occurs — a very common reaction — that is a sign toxins are working their way out. The headache is usually gone right after a coffee enema or colonic irrigation.

Can I drink coffee during the 7 day cleanse?

No, coffee should only be taken in the enema solution. You can drink purified water, herbal teas, and fruit or vegetable juice with no added sugar. If you have your own juicer, drink fresh juice only — no pulp.

Do I have to go all 7 full days on the cleanse?

Although 7 days is best, doing a 3 to 6 day cleanse because that is all you have time for can also be very helpful. Some people choose to continue for 8 to 14 days. You will need extra products for a longer duration.
